Urban Matrix Oil Industry Chemicals

Silica flour is simply made by grinding pure silica sand to a very fine powder. It is used as a cheap filler in plaster and some plastics to add strength, or just to reduce the amount of (expensive) resin needed to fill a mold.

Silica Sand:

PictureSilica sand we offer has many industrial applications in abrasive and polishes. It is derived from silicon, which is the most abundant element on earth's surface. We also offer a variety of silica, which find usage in different types of industries.

Quartz Silica Flour Snow White / Semi White:

PictureWe offer a comprehensive range of silica sand snow white and semi white as SiO2 - 99% plus. Which is mainly produced by crushing sand stone or quartzite of open texture, and then washing and grading it to yield requisite grain distribution. Available mesh size 16/30, 24/60, 30/80, 50/100, 40/120, and other all mesh sizes.

Silica Flour:

PictureSilica is silicon dioxide, SiO2 is found in the form of rock. There is a variety of amorphous silica, named lechatolierite and that is vitreous, instead of crystalline. When that amorphous silica is powdered it is called "silica flour".
We offer high purity, fine silica flour with particle sizes ranging from 100 mesh to 400 mesh in different packing. In addition we have the capabilities to tailor make product to specific customer requirements.

Applications:

Ø Glazing media in ceramic industry

Ø Cementing in oil well drilling.

Ø Filler in paints and powder coats.

Ø Additive in construction chemicals and sealants

Ø Filler in Plastics.

Features:

Ø Silica flour contains 100% crystalline silica and is a common ingredient. In products such as surface coatings, abrasives, plastics etc.

Ø Silica flour is used industrially as an abrasive cleaner and as an inert filler

Ø Silica flour is found in toothpaste, scouring powder, and metal polish

Ø It is an extender in paint, a wood filler, and a component in road surfacing mixtures

Ø It is also used in some foundry processes. *
